LAV.BARCARDI collects the name, email address, phone number, student year, food preference, gender, alcohol preference, and college ID image entered during account registration. Passwords are stored as password hashes.

Account features can also store a username, profile biography, avatar image, a Spotify or YouTube link, or a private MP3 chosen by the account holder. Friend requests and accepted friend relationships are stored to provide the social features. Profile music is made available to accepted friends.

College ID images, profile photos, and MP3 files must be stored outside the public website folder when the server is configured as described in the deployment guide. Site operators are responsible for access, backups, retention, and account deletion on their production server.

External services

Some fonts, photos, video, and map links are provided by third-party services. When your browser loads those services or opens a map, those providers may receive standard connection information under their own privacy practices.

The site uses third-party font and media services, including Google Fonts, Spotify, YouTube, Google Maps, and Instagram. Their services may receive standard connection information when loaded or opened.

Before public launch, the site operator should add a contact address and review this notice for the laws that apply to the event and its attendees.
